Artistic biography:
10-year training in classical violin with a teacher from the Paris Conservatory.
• 1979: self-taught guitar lessons. Formation of the Impact group (63):
Discovery of Printemps de Bourges in 1984; recording a disc with RTL2.
Tour of 6 concerts in Algeria organized by the French Embassy.
• 93-94: jazz and harmony training at the Jazz school in Tours (37).
• 95-97: violinist of the group Les Paladins (Celtic rock) recording of a CD “against
winds and tides” produced by Disques Gaulois. Services: Café de la Danse. Paris ;
first parts of Calvin Russell.Higelin.Bashung. Tri yan .Zebda.

• end of 97: Aveyron: Menestrel group (Celtic rock) Self-produced CD.
• 99: group Hedge Hogs (Irish music) self-produced CD. First part :
Celtas Cortos.
• 2000: formation of the Magna Charta group (traditional progressive). Songwriter.
• 2002: formation of the group Trio BCD (traditional music from Auvergne) with Antoine
Carpenter and Yannick Delclaux. Self-produced and self-produced “Dancing Music” album
distributed by AMTA (63).
• 2002 –2007: formation of the group Inisfree (Irish music) with Eric Darmagnac and
Jan Widger.
• 2007 to the present: creation of the Duo Patrick Desaunay-Georges Breuil (music from Auvergne and Ireland).
• 2004-2009: Professor of traditional violin at the Departmental Center for Music and
Traditional Dances of Cantal (15).
• Also masters computer-assisted digital recording techniques,
several CDs recorded in my own studio: “Musiques à danser” Trio BCD, between
others.
Violin course work with Michel Esbelin for Auvergne and Gerry Oconnor and Christian
Lemaitre for the Music of Ireland and Brittany. ..
• September 2009: installation in Côtes d'Armor (22). participation in sessions
Irish music. Currently working on musical and associative projects with
different regional players (Iniskis, Travel...).
